Beauty addicts celebrate GRLPWR

GRLPWR, now on its fifth year, is a gathering and celebration of women, as well as a platform to bring important topics to light in the realm of women empowerment.

An abundance of luxury beauty brands and products gave guests at the recent Rustan’s GRLPWR event a boost of self-awareness. While going around and enjoying the fun activities and checking out what’s new or what’s hot with brands such as Chanel, La Prairie, Sisley, Clarins, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Tom Ford, MAC, Estee Lauder, L’Occitane, Diptyque, Acca Kappa, Phyto, Deborah Lippmann, Shiseido, Saturday Skin, Jo Malone London, NARS, Laura Mercier, Maison Francis Kurkdjian and many more, they got an invigorating reminder that self-care is empowering.

Rustan’s The Beauty Source on 7 March became a hub for rediscovering joy and purpose, a reminder not to lose sight of what actually matters: one’s well-being.

This message of rising up and exploring one’s own power was the core of the event’s theme: Resort To Beauty.

Beauty and the arts

The event pit the spotlight on women in art, their achievements and contributions as Filipina artists who continue to pave the way for gender equality and artistic freedom.

Clara Benin, indie singer-songwriter best known for her track “Parallel Universe,” showed her audience just why she has had “tens of millions of streams on Spotify.”

CRAFTSMANSHIP and style also took center stage at Rustan’s GRLPWR.
