The Lowland Vegetable Technology Demonstration aims to impart modern technology for the development of vegetable farming in peri-urban areas or zones of transition from rural to urban land uses located between the outer limits of urban and regional centers and the rural environment.

The demonstration is in partnership with private companies such as Thai-Phil Advance Agritech Corporation and Agrigrowth International Corporation.

OIC regional executive director Dr. Eduardo L. Lapuz Jr., Chief of Field Operations Division Elma Mananes, Regional High Value Crops Development Program and National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program Focal Person Engr. AB P. David, APCO Marilou Ramos, Office of Provincial Agriculturist, Orion Vice Mayor Rex Joseph Fuster and local government officials of Orion took part in the event.

He added that through this partnership with the national government, private companies and the province of Bataan, the development of agriculture in this province will certainly be successful.
