Kevin, Nick and Joe of the Jonas Brothers took Filipino fans down memory lane during their Celebrating Five Albums Tour concert held at the Mall of Asia Arena on 22 February.

“Manila, it’s been way too long. Thank you for the warm reception,” Nick said.

The trio opened the show with an electrifying “What A Man Gotta Do” and serenaded the audience with iconic songs such as “S.O.S,” “When You Look Me In The Eyes,” “Year 3000,” “Gotta Find You,” “Tonight,” “Introducing Me,” “Lovebug,” “Jealous,” “Sucker,” and “Cake By The Ocean” among others.

“This is the first show in our international tour. And you guys are kicking it right. So whether you’re a new fan or a long-time fan, welcome!” Nick added.

The Jonas Brothers first visited the Philippines in 2012 as part of their Jonas Brothers Live 2012 Tour at the MOA Arena and the Waterfront Hotel Cebu.

Celebrating Five Albums Tour is the group’s most ambitious outing to date with 98 shows across 26 countries. It celebrates the Jonas Brothers’ five albums and their best hits throughout the years. After the Philippine leg, the tour will continue its trek around the globe in Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Northern Ireland, Hamburg, Lyon, Munich and Norway.

Standing out as one of the most successful groups of the 21st century, the Jonas Brothers have sold millions of albums and counting, garnered two GRAMMY® Award nominations, earned 26 Billboard Hot 100 hits, logged three consecutive number one debuts on the Billboard 200 and generated billions of streams.

Among many accolades, Kevin, Nick and Joe recently claimed a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They made a comeback in 2019 with their Platinum-Certified Republic Records debut Happiness Begins. It yielded the history-making, 5x-Platinum smash song “Sucker” that minted them as “the first group in the 21st century to debut at #1 on the Hot 100.” The song is the “longest-running #1 Pop Airplay Single of 2019.” It also received a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.”

The band supported the album with the worldwide Happiness Begins Tour and the Amazon Original documentaries Chasing Happiness and Happiness Continues

In 2023, the Jonas Brothers embarked on a new era with the release of The Album via Republic Records. The Album was produced by Jon Bellion and features the hit singles “Waffle House” and “Wings.”

Celebrating Five Albums Tour kicked off with two sold-out shows at New York’s iconic Yankee Stadium on 12 and 13 August 2023. In the Philippines, the tour is promoted by Ovation Productions with Blast TV as the official media partner.
