Tzu Chi Ormoc recently held its yearend blessing and thanksgiving event at the Tzu Chi Great Love Village in Ormoc, bringing together volunteers, Tzu Ching members, scholars and villagers to celebrate the spirit of giving and gratitude.

The event also served as an opportunity for villagers to express their gratitude for the blessings they had received in the past year. They brought offerings such as vegetables, fruits, flowers and gifts for Buddha and Dharma Master Cheng Yen.

As part of the event, “angpao” or red envelopes were also given out as a token of appreciation and support. The act of giving brought smiles to the faces of everyone present, spreading warmth and happiness.

Through inspiring Tzu Ching sharing, the distribution of blessings and the sense of community among the participants, the event helped spread the spirit of love, gratitude and kindness. It served as a reminder to the attendees not only to cherish the blessings in their lives, but also to extend a helping hand to those in need.
