The SM Prime’s residential developer, SM Development Corporation, recently unveiled Jade Residences, a soon-to-rise condominium in the heart of Chino Roces Avenue.
Jade Residences is the conglomerate’s third project along Chino Roces Avenue and the sixth overall in Makati City.
The other projects of SMDC along Chino Roces Avenue are the Red Residences and Mint Residences, all in the pre-selling stage.
The 34-storey condominium comprises almost 2,000 units with two basement levels for parking purposes.
During his groundbreaking speech, SMDC president Jose Mari Banzon expressed his satisfaction with the “reaches” of their skyscrapers in the business district.
“We keep on developing here [Makati] because we are happy with the performance of our residential projects in Makati,” he said.
Banzon also noted that the condominium projects of the SMDC in Makati City comprise 15,000 units.
SMDC partnered with JCV & Associates for this condominium project.
Makati City Mayor Abigail Binay and Barangay Bangkal chairman Virgilio Hilario III graced the groundbreaking ceremony.
Premier city
The SMDC president also lauded the local government unit’s performance in handling and developing the city.
“Makati’s progress has always been a tradition of the premier city in the Philippines,” he said.
Jade Residences is vital in Makati City — close to malls, parks, restaurants, universities, and even key transport hubs. Chino Roces Avenue has been part of the commerce in the Makati CBD.
In an interview with the DAILY TRIBUNE, SMDC vice president for Project Development Sandro Javier mentioned that Jade Residences has what it takes to stand against other condominiums.
“We elevate the lifestyle of Filipinos. We have complete, nice amenities, and the design — modern design,” he said.
As the country’s economy continues to prosper, the SMDC vows to continue its projects in the business district to bring the people’s urban living experience to the next level.
