Is Maris Racal becoming a threat to Belle Mariano? 

We are asking this because one avid DonBelle fan bashed Rascal for being a good co-actor in Can’t Buy Me Love.

A certain fan with the X handle zzie_35 berated Racal and accused her of being swellheaded.

“Nadikit kalang sa DonBelle, umarte ka na ng ganyan! Wait mo matapos ang series, if san ka pulutin. Arte arte mo wala sa lugar. Feeling BIDA yarn. DonBelle is DonBelle after the series. Let’s see if kaya mo sabayan yung solid and laki ng Fandom/Fanbase nila. Para kang langaw na nakatuntong sa kalabaw. Nakikisakay ka lang. Gets mo?! Ay Irene Tiu pa bat oh or Maris Racal na?! (You’re just sticking close to DonBelle, and now you’re acting like that! Wait until the series is over, see where you’ll end up. Your attitude is out of place. Acting like you’re the lead star. DonBelle is DonBelle after the series. Let’s see if you can keep up with their solid and massive fandom/fanbase. You’re like a fly perched on a water buffalo. Just hitching a ride. Do you get it?! Oh, is it Irene Tiu or Maris Racal?!),” came the basher’s message to the actress. 

Racal’s curt reply was “Omg naging thankful lang ako. sorry.”

A huge number of netizens defended Racal on social media.

“I mean, people, get off your high horses. Maris has been Maris way before – she’s been trending for her witty banters and her roles in The Kangk’s Show, Pamilya Ko HCTG, IM and more. The fact that netizens mention her previous projects before Irene Tiu is very evident of her impact as an actress. So, for you to troll her harmless post about being grateful in GENERAL speaks volumes about how consumed you are. The disrespect these fans showed to the creatives, the team, and even co-actors is disgusting. This toxic skinship and their barbaric fans, watch out,” said one fan.

“Kasalanan ba ni Maris kung magaling siya? Sa totoo lang kung wala siya dun paniguradong lalangawin yung series. Daniel Padilla was not included in the Top 10 Kapamilya Artist Biggest Achievers in 2023.

The list included Kathryn Bernardo, Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, Kim Chiu, Anne Curtis, Regine Velasquez, Andrea Brillantes, Sarah Geronimo, Joshua Garcia, Donny Pangilinan-Belle Mariano (DonBelle).

With that, netizens had a field day of bashing the Kapamilya actor.

But for his adoring fans, Padilla is still an achiever.
