When one sees the woman behind the Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic, on cue the lyrics of “I Enjoy Being a Girl” plays repeatedly in your head.

Clad in an elegant red dress during the 18th anniversary celebration of her beauty and wellness business, Valencia personified the lines “I’m strictly a female, female, with a sweet and girlish gait… I am proud that my silhouette is curvy, that I walk with a sweet and girlish gait, with my hips kind of swivelly and swerve…”

She is not an It girl, she is an It woman.

 No wonder, the clinic that carries her name continues to lead in the highly competitive beauty and wellness business sector.

“My success is much about my passion as it is about the genuine happiness I see in my clients’ faces, as they are genuinely satisfied with the treatments we provide with great results,” she said.

“I am on a constant quest to innovate always,” Valencia added. “I am on a constant search for new ways to offer alternatives to invasive procedures, especially for the younger generation. Don’t get me wrong, surgeries have their place, but I believe in slowing sown the aging process naturally whenever possible.”

The clinic is still expanding, its owner said. “We are expanding our roster of products, we are building our own laboratory to cater to the numerous demands of products in the market, and we are expanding our core to provide a total wellness empire in the in future.”

The Valencia beauty brand has synonymous to beautiful skin and top-tier products. For its owner, “Being beautiful is a holistic approach. It is a combination of skin care, nutrition, adequate sleep, hydration and regular exercise. All of these ensure a radiant and healthy appearance, inside and out.”

Her non-negotiables, said Valencia, are: “Sunblock, sleeping with makeup on is a no-no, ample sleep, a diet that excludes red meat and with limited carb intake, juicing and indulging in low-sugar fruits as healthy snacks, and three-times-a-week workout that includes cardio and light weights training.”
