Sarah Lahbati’s dad, Abdel Lahbati, did it again.
We’re referring to his recent jab against “dogs barking”.
The elder Lahbati seemingly took a swipe at someone or some people on his Instagram account last 9 December. Sharing a photo showing him with daughter Sarah and her sons Kai and Zion, he wrote in the caption: “Enjoying every moment with family. The convoy keeps going and don’t mind dogs barking.”
This came right on the heels of Annabelle Rama’s rant that while her son Richard was working hard to earn money, his partner was allegedly frittering away his money on parties, travel and the like.
In his Instagram post last Monday, 18 December, Sarah’s dad again brought up the “barking dogs” jab.
“Until now we’re just quite ignoring some barking dogs but someone doesn’t want to stop talking about this issue, she’s even spending money to spread fake news, we choose to spend money to enjoy our life. Thanks to everyone for your love and support for Sarah. Wishing you and your family peace, health, happiness and prosperity in the coming year, Mery Christmas.”
The photo accompanying that caption? Two dogs goofing around with each other.
The general guess, of course, was that he was taking aim at Rama. Who else could it be given the circumstances of this story?
Blythe’s wishes for 2024
Controversial young actress Andrea Brillantes was recently cornered for a short interview about what she wishes for 2024.
“Di na kasi ako masyado nag-e-expect, basta growth lang, healing,” she said.
Brillantes also said she is hoping for her family’s good health.
“Christmas wish ko… Masaya naman na po kasi ako, healthy ‘yung buong family ko, and maayos naman kami. Siguro Christmas wish ko na lang ano, matuto na mag-drive” (My Christmas wish… I am very happy because my family is healthy and we’re okay. Maybe, my Christmas wish is to learn how to drive), she said.
Brillantes has been embroiled in the breakup of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. While an unimpeachable source exonerated her as the culprit in the breakup, Brillantes still found herself dragged through the mud.
The latest cheese is that it was Brillantes herself who supposedly talked to Bernardo and admitted a one-time tryst with Padilla — the last straw for Bernardo, who thereafter split with Padilla.
TimPoch soars
The endearing boys’ love pairing of Zaijian Jaranilla and Miggy Jimenez, fondly called TimPoch, has become an essential storyline in the Kapamilya series Senior High. The two actors said they are grateful for the positive feedback from viewers.
“Sobrang nakakataba ng puso dahil nagustuhan at minahal siya ng mga tao. Pag magkaka-eksena kami, nagtatanungan kami kung hanggang saan lang ba pwede. Jaranilla also credited his directors for helping him bring to life the character of Tim, whose struggle with his sexual identity has earned enormous sympathy from viewers.
