Much has been said about the “youngest president of the Philippine Airlines” — about his new-gen kind of management ethos and the fact that he has led the company with quiet efficiency — but one thing about the fortysomething pilot: He wears the “Filipino style” with aplomb.
“I really want to promote the Filipino. I try to support all designers,” he tells DAILY TRIBUNE after his interview on the digital show, Straight Talk, last Wednesday.
In a distinctive Puey Quinones short-sleeved barong top, which fit his lean frame quite well, the low-key head of the country’s leading airline stands out without even trying.
