Ahn Hyo-seop has thought of pursuing music aside from a career in acting.
“I have the thought that I want to share what I think, feel and positive messages to a lot of people through music. Although there are no specific plans, I’m sure that day will come,” Hyo-seop said at his press conference in Manila.
The K-drama actor was in town for his The Present Show: Here and Now fan meet on 8 October at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, held in collaboration with local fashion brand Bench.
The show saw Hyo-seop dancing to “Vibe” by Taeyang and BTS’ Jimin and singing along to “A River Flows in You” by Yiruma and “Lucky” by Jason Mraz. He then reenacted lines from his hit K-dramas Business Proposal, A Time Called You and Dr. Romantic.
Hyo-seop also recited the Filipino words “salamat po,” “mabuhay,” “masarap” and “mahal ko kayo.”
“I think you guys made me who I am and I can only exist because of you guys. I’m not lying at all, because the only reason why I’m here right now is because you have always supported me, have loved me, and I’m very grateful for that,” he said.
The Present Show: Here and Now kicked off in Seoul last July. It has had stops in Bangkok, Taipei, Jakarta and Hong Kong, and will conclude in Tokyo on 24 October.
Hyo-seop appeared in the K-dramas Abyss (2019), Dr. Romantic Seasons 2 and 3 (2020, 2023), Lovers of the Red Sky (2021) and Business Proposal (2022).
