TV host-actress Anne Curtis thanked the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Philippines country office for giving her another opportunity to continue her role as its ambassador.
In an Instagram post on Friday, she said she will carry on with her advocacy in lending her voice the best way she knows how for every child.
“Being a UNICEF Philippines National Ambassador is a responsibility I hold close to my heart. As you all know, I’ve always been passionate about helping children whenever I can, and when I became a mother, I’ve come to an even greater realization of how important it is to protect and uphold the rights of children, especially those who are most vulnerable,” she wrote in the caption.
Curtis started her journey as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2015 when she was named as UNICEF Celebrity Advocate for Children.
On Thursday, 1 June, she and veteran singer Gary Valenciano signed an agreement renewing their commitment as national ambassadors of UNICEF Philippines.
